Big 16 oz (1 pound) bottle!Ultra-High quality HYPERBOND Triple-Distilled MEDIUM CA Glue. MEDIUM viscosity cyanoacrylate “super glue” for builders and hobbyists. Brand new, sealed, and fresh. Comes with high-quality bottle and a “Yorker” dispensing tip. Made in the USA! HYPERBOND is sold by Rabid ModelsThis is a LOT of glue! Use it to refill a regular 2-oz glue bottle EIGHT TIMES! In addition to being a great deal, this is the good stuff. Regular 2oz bottles of CA glue go for about $6 on line (and often far more at Hobby Shops) so this 16-oz bottle is equivalent to at least $48 retail. Plus you don’t have to pay for shipping over and over again, so you can save a few bucks that way as well! 16oz is sold as net weight (one pound), not volume. The thicker the viscosity, the slower the glue dries and the better it is at gap filling. Thick CA is especially good for porous or rough items and for laminating, and stays where you put it. Thin CA is as thin as water and is expecially good for wicking deep into tight joints and hairline cracks. Medium CA is an excellent “all purpose” CA for items that fit well together. All CA works best when pressed into a thin film between two objects. For best results, store CA in a cool dry place and open it as little as possible. Refrigeration is ideal. More information (blah blah blah): TECHNICAL NOTES: Regular CA is NOT Foam-Safe. Serving the industrial market for more than 30 years, CA Plus industrial glue is from their “advance performance series” of adhesives, and is triple distilled and made in the USA. This high-quality Mil-Spec CA will form excellent bonds on a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials: plastics, metals, wood and other porous surfaces, to name a few. This product is brand new and sealed. CA Glue is a fast-acting cyanoacrylate glue for hobby use. Rabid Models offers a wide selection of glue products on ebay and they are also sold on line. Rabid Models offers a line of original-design “foamin’ at the mouth” profile ‘foamie’ RC scale warbird plane kits plus motors and some other accessory items. Everything is Made in the USA! SI stands for “surface insensitive” and this kind of CA is specifically designed to bond many kinds of materials extremely well, including dissimilar materials and materials that you may have found difficult to bond with inferior CA glue, such as plywood for example. The thicker the glue, the longer it takes to dry. (For plywood, the thicker grades are better. Thin grades are best for porous surfaces and very tight joints.) Triple-distilled CA glues are the best you can buy – they have the longest shelf life and have stronger bonds due to less impurities. Don’t use inferior glue! I have three different kinds listed on ebay:SI-5 (Thin) is a water-thin CA that wicks deeply into tight joints by capillary action. Excellent for use with balsa since the glue will penetrate into the wood fibers and porous materials, forming more than just a surface bond. Sets relatively quickly, usually in less than 5 seconds. SI-750 (Medium) is a medium viscosity CA for joints where a small gap must be bridged. Sets in about 8-15 seconds. Medium is an excellent all-purpose adhesive. SI-1500 (Thick) is twice as thick as the medium and is excellent for gap filling, and for laminating difficult to glue materials such as plywood or fiberglass. It takes longer to dry and sets in about 20-30 seconds. This is NOT foam-safe CA glue. Do not use on EPS foam materials! THIS SALE IS FOR ONE bottle.
