guess who electronic extra game game does not include the original box , game ships in a shipping box game is complete except for the boxrules are included, printed from the web siteelectronic features tested and work well – requires 2 AAA batteries that are not includedbatteries go adjacent to the on/off switch as shown in the photo – open the red tray from the center -lift up, requires a small phillips screwdriverto open trays, lift in center of tray at the top, right below the battery compartment – lift from top center includes 6 character sheets – stored inside case – the frame lifts up to allow access to the sheets – 3 sheets on each side, six total how to play:Setup § Each player chooses a color and takes the sheets for their color.§ Open the gameboard and position it so each player has the side in front of them matching their color.§ The players choose which card they will use and place the corresponding card in the game unit.§ Each player slides one of their selectors over one of the pictures at the top of the sheet to choose their character.§ Each player starts their score tracker on zero.§ Turn on the game unit by sliding the black button (on the red side of the gameboard) towards the “|” side.§ The youngest player will start the game. Playing the Game There are four different games that you can play with Electronic Guess Who? Extra. This section will explain the rules for classic Guess Who?. Any additional rules needed for the other three games will be presented in their sections. On a player’s turn they ask the other player any question that can be answered with a yes or no. The other player answers the question based on the character they chose at the beginning of the game. Instead of saying out loud yes or no, the player will press the green button for yes and the red button for no. There is a variant rule where if a player answers without pressing the button, the other player automatically gets a point. Based on the answer that a player receives, they will close the gates on the bottom of their side of the board covering up the characters that the player has eliminated due to their question. The red player asked the other player whether their character is wearing a hat. The other player replied with a no so the red player covers up all of the characters wearing a hat. The next player then asks their question. When a player thinks they know the character the other player chose they can use their turn to make a guess. If they are wrong they cover up that character on their board and their turn ends. If they are right the other player holds down the yes button for three seconds indicating that the player has won the round. The player who won the round will score two points. This player has eliminated all but one of the characters. If the other player selected Emily for their character, the red player has won the round. If neither player has earned enough points to win the game, another round is played. Alternate Modes of Play Guess Who? Wild Before you begin a round each player uses their pegs to make three guesses at which character they think the other player is going to choose. To make a guess a player places one peg next to the corresponding picture on the bottom of the board. For this wild guess round the player has put their pegs on the radio, telephone and television characters. At the end of the game both players check to see if one of their wild guesses were correct. If a player guessed correctly they will score one extra point no matter if they won or lost the round. Time to Time In this game you will be playing against the timer. Before you start a round press the timer button (middle button) to set the desired time limit: § 1 beep: fast§ 2 beeps: super fast§ 3 beeps: almost impossibleThe color that the timer button is flashing determines whose turn it is. The game ends when either a player has successfully guessed the other player’s character or both players have run out of time. If both players run out of time, the players will take turns trying to guess the other player’s chosen character. The players will get up to three guesses. The first player to guess correctly wins the round. Guess Who 2 At the beginning of the game each player will choose two characters. They will choose one character from the top row and one character from the bottom row. The game is played the same except that players need to be careful when asking questions as the question could apply to both, one or neither character. The first player to guess both characters scores four points. This player has chosen to select the monkey and dog character for this round of Guess Who 2. Winning the Game The first player to score twelve points wins the game
