You are buying just the Rubber Buffer HK list this part as part #20453 which replaces your old HK 300 2 pin/nipple buffer. Heckler & Koch no longer produces this part and hasn’t for well over 35 years. This Buffer will allow you to keep your Rifle operating as intended for many years! I only sell what I use personally , I do not sell junk. Do to the rarity of the part you should always stock spares in your Armorers toolbox. This Rubber Buffer is made to fit the HK 300 Rifle only. This 2 pin is for HK 300 rifles marked with a serial numbers below 15,000.I also have the same quality made Rubber injected buffers for other HK models for sale on eBay for you to view in other auctions. All are made using the high pressure injection molding method. And yes I will combine shipping For those of you with a serial numbers above 15,000 that will require a 3 pin buffer which is also larger and boast a larger metal buffer retainer in size then its early brother the 2 pin. The 3 pin Buffer can be found in another one of my auctions. I do not know what you have presently in your rifle and will not guess to know. So please order the duplicate of what is on your rifle presently that works for you. If you have stripped down your rifle for cleaning then you already know it takes no time at all to replace this part. Refer to your Heckler & Koch manual on your specific rifle for field stripping directions. It’s not that hard. There is a pretty good tutorial on exactly how this is done on the internet.(Note*) If you are uncomfortable with replacing this part. Then seek out the advice or services of a qualified Gunsmith in your area.With rubber injection molding you’re guaranteed functionality, fit, and form. Compression molding is the only way to get clean rubber Buffers. Two part rubber mixed cast are unreliable and are prone to fail because of their molecular structure. Accurate duplicate cast obtained from a single impression / wax mold reduces consistency and reliability. The original HK Buffers are created using hot rubber in a liquid state injected under high pressure into a CNC created steel mold. Please see the photos of a brand new high compression molded buffer that I am selling. As you can see the fit and finish product is like night and day to that of the rubber in a can hobbyist casted buffers as I refer to them. The injected rubber buffers are uniform and not chunky and porous like the wax hand cast buffer. Liquid rubber part A & B mixes are prone to air bubbles which if not removed leads to voids and cratering in the casted rubber as seen in the example of the one I purchased . Inconsistent volume mixing also contributes to poor castings.The example of the casted Buffer I purchased was so poor it could not even support the two small rubber nipples /pins that are required to secure the buffer in place. So the end result is it needs to be glued into place. The poorly casted buffers are a detriment to the Life of your HK 300 rifle. Quicker degradation of the rubber leads to break down and wear to all related rifle parts in contact with it. Up til now the cast rubber in a can buffers were all that was available to the HK enthusiasts like myself. The initial cost of tooling, set up and manufacturing make injection molding not cost effective for the one off home hobbyist looking to spin a quick buck and have fun making them in their basement. Thanks to say that’s all changed . My rifles deserve the Best! and so doesn’t yours!
