This majestic ancient lighthouse stood on the island of Pharos close to the coast of Egypt for more than a thousand years. Built in 300 B.C.E., it was the first navigational beacon fire in history. The exclusive fountain pen from Pelikan recalls this technical and artistic marvel with an equivalent degree of precision and craftsmanship. Even the presentation is unique: the pen is impressively displayed under a glass dome designed to be reminiscent of the original structure. The dark blue lacquered barrel enclosed between gold-plated edges and the gold-plated clip emphasize the preciousness of the pen.
