It is the choice for professional players seeking a superior upright piano and is perfect for homes and apartments of all sizes. Unlike other manufacturers that mass-produce their uprights, STEINWAY & SONS uprights are handcrafted in the same factory as their grand pianos, using the same techniques, conditioning processes, and craftsmen. The result is the world’s finest upright, living up to the STEINWAY & SONS name in every respect. The K52 or 52″ upright pianos use over 125 patented features and processes, including the patented Diaphragmatic soundboard, Accelerated Action, and Hexagrip pin block. The soundboard surface area and string length are close to that of a 5’10” Steinway model O grand piano and are referred to as a Vertigrand.This Steinway k52 Professional upright was purchased from Steinway Hall in 1985. The piano was maintained annually, and our technicians will prepare it for a concert level of performance.The Steinway K52 is a wonderful piano with one of the finest scale designs available on an upright. This piano will have its hammers filed and voiced to bring new life into the sound. It will also undergo a series of maintenance-related services to ensure the highest performance. All of our pianos receive a complete and thorough examination, preparation, and certification prior to sale and delivery.
