VINTAGE ONE-OF-A-KIND 1970’s COACH BASEBALL GLOVE LEATHER LAPTOP BRIEFCASE BAG R$1198Our bags are the antidote for the poly lined synthetic leather bags being produced for even really good upscale companies in China. Most of our bags are full-grain leather. Artisan craft, authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line. We only use high grade belts for straps reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps and half centimeter thick mooseskin. Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and stands the test of a truly rugged life-style.My philosophy and writing descriptions is: a picture speaks 1000 words. So please look at the pictures and email me with any questions. That said, here is my description. Ingredients: Beautiful Vintage Coach Leather, Thick Mooseskin, Solid Brass, Pounded Copper Rivets, Antique Brass Snaps…. and love for vintage… What I love about this Vintage Coach Baseball Glove Leather Bag is it’s fine craftsmanship and now it’s one of a kind Brass Buckle and Mooseskin Strap Closure; truly heirloom quality. The particular style this bag was I believe was made in the 1970’s and is notorious for having nice hardware that has just worn out. I have removed the original clip and exchanged it for a beautiful solid brass buckle and super rugged and soft mooseskin in matching black. Additionally I added a mooseskin handle wrap. People write me and tell me how much they like the feel of mooseskin. The handle wrap is affixed with antique brass snaps. Because mooskin is so soft to touch; the new owner will have a pleasurable experience every time they pick up their briefcase; truly I know of no leather like mooseskin. Inside Handle Added: My labor of love in this briefcase, adding an inside grab and go handle. This is a unique feature that I am known for. It will hang on a door knob, the back of a chair, or a hook in your office. Once you tried the handle on the inside you’ll love it. It makes loading your gear much easier and is the mooseskin I use is very pleasing to touch. It’s high-quality 7 to 8 ounce mooseskin. If you’re not familiar with leather ounce ratings it means it’s a half a centimeter thick. It is like deerskin but thicker; it is my favorite leather in the world. Invest in a bag that you’ll love more and more over time. Vintage Coach is not the same as COACH bags today. Not all leather bags are created the same. A great quality leather bag is supposed to look better with time as the leather acquires marks and age related wear. This bag, now that the clip has been removed, is now durable enough to pass on to your kids or grand-kids; truly heirloom quality.Pounded Copper Rivets: If you are not familiar with pounded copper rivets, they are a really old school re-enforcement that us next to impossible to remove. I have even tried to drill some out before when I have made a mistake and I could not do it. I use leather washers to give it even more durability. I have this bag listed as a man’s bag. But to a woman who is looking for that vintage rugged look this would be perfect.The measurements in inches are approximately: 16 x 11.5 x 4 inches. As show in the photos: This bag fits my mock-up wooden laptop-board with the measurements of 9 1/2″ by 15 1/8″ by 3/4 “. Will fit a 2017 15.4 inch MacBook Pro.
